Much Ado About Nothing

I doubt that the rest of the world is very concerned with
Our country's approaching election. Our figurehead is
Going to change, but, otherwise, virtually nothing will.
Our troops will remain everywhere they have been. Our
Money and weapons will let the Israelis continue their
Efforts at genocide. We'll still bully China, Iran, North
Korea, Venezuela, and Cuba, Syria, Nicaragua, too,
Simply because we have and we can. We won't do
Very much to reduce global warming or better the lives
Of the billions of poor. We'll keep spending money which
We haven't got, and keep growing older and less
European. Headlines will proclaim a great transformation,
Which no one who's not us will see.

The whole of this piece rings true to me. The last two lines are really prophetic. The World is a sad place these days, and One cannot help feeling it is because of the leaders. Look at them! Look at the state of the place! Blessings, Allen

The Western world is concerned. Depending on the victor and their mood, this election could be the last ever. Storms are simmering on the horizon and it only takes a little rain to start a flood.

An interesting piece as always, thanks for sharing.

Trump only says half the truth to the Americans
he will not make war to a foreign country but well to America...?
