Lesson 49
My lover’s smile is twice as wideas any city street. Her feet
have walked the length of many moons,
and made passers-by swoon, yet
she thinks she’s just an ordinary woman.
I tell her, she can’t know what ordinary means.
Just like the sun never knows what darkness is,
or the wind never knows what it is to stay still.
I tell her, don’t dwell in impossibilities.
