Celeste

Celeste prefers the comfort of solitude

Often the ways of the world and the warps that follow

Are too much to endure

She entertains an occasional interlude

Yet, companionship a two edged sword may ring hollow

Being alone can cure

An occasional slip of habit of ritual and rite

Like an out of town trip, a secret note is written, contrite

Moments soon forgotten, held like a sign made in jest

Forever remember, her silent laughter, Celeste
