Happy Christmas everyone

Oh well the end to an otherwise strange year,
Mixed dementia is a struggle not for me.
Loved one's seem to suffer the most,
I have a voice recorder now. ( that is
if I remember to take it with me).
Dvla won't renew my license until they've
done all the usual checks, they've sent out
a covering letter allowing me to drive.
Trouble is it hasn't arrived, my license
Runs out 21st of December.
Been told I can't drive without covering letter.
I bet santa doesn't have that problem.
Merry Christmas to one and all and have
a magical new year. Regards Alan.

I could relate to this, looking after an elderly relative who has significan cognitative decline, yet is still there, it is tough. I have my own health issues, yet I find, dealing with the elderly relative that I question myself - I forget things, I know logically, because I am stressed, but it makes me question. A poem for many of us to relate to.

Happy Christmas Alan, I hope you and yours have a wonderful yule tide.
