Sky Painted Gray
The sky was painted gray
A longer than usual day
It was as though forever revolving
Doors were opening and closing
Like windows of before and after
Somewhere the sea waves cast
Upon shores of laughter
Empty scenes of past to future fill
Sometimes somethings last like nothing will
Be here until it goes away
A longer than usual day
The sky was painted gray
