Mental Health 101
When pain overwhelms meI pen the conflict away
When feelings of passion consume me
I expose them in verses of tranquility
When anger infiltrates me
I rant expletives of verbosity
When sadness devastates me
I allow each stanza to appease my misery
When frustration exploits me
I step into my poetic psyche
When betrayal exposes false empathy
I write aghast, wow, really?
When platitudes speak mockery
My instincts sense autocracy
When real feelings are displayed truthfully
I document my appreciation infinitely
When pretences of solutions lack equity
My poetic voice shouts in silent efficacy
