Written Based on a request that a Co-worker wanted me to run with him, because he thought he wouldn't stick to it without help, he just brought it to the front of my mind.

Still Training Myself KID (you have to do you)

I've been asked countless times
Will, will you train me
I don't have the willpower
to stick to it I'm like
take it easy

Just my name is Will
Doesn't mean I can
provide you
with willpower
this is my way of life
sorry I can't make it
ours

I can give you some direction
sorry then you on your own
I can't hold your hand through it
aren't you grown

That's the difference between
an adult and a child
a child gets bored with S.S.D.D.
an adult sticks to it if it's worthwhile

I can give you the direction
but I can't give you sticktoativeness
I can provide you with a training regiment
but sorry you have to do the rest

If you're just looking for a friend
sorry that I can't provide
if you can't stick to your training
all I can say is you have to
find something inside

So if you approach me
asking me to train you
like so many others did
the answer will always be
the same
"Still Training Myself Kid".

I love these poems about your life Will. you have said so many wise things in this poem. So true, unless the person has the will to stay with it all the training in the world will not magically change their bodies or minds. It has to come from within. You have it! : ) kathy
