Some say it's dedicationOthers say it's an obsession
If I have this type of love
Why isn't Personal Trainer
My profession
That's not love for Iron
That's love for ppl.
Having weights in my hands
Showing ppl. How to workout
That's not equal
Love for the Iron
That's all there is
No other life no wife
No pets no kids
There is me my dumbbells
My bowflexes, my plates
Extra little stuff like
A correct diet to calculate
Other than that
It's love for the strain
Love for the pounds
The feeling of pushing & pulling
Heavy weights up & down
Love for a person is difficult
And most ppl. Would say
Keep trying
But I'll just keep on being me
Sticking with my love for the Iron
