Pressure
the tension
claws its way up my neck
into my head
consumed by a raging inferno of pain
this mass of sells begs for deliverance
my stomach
as if in sympathy erupts violently
tightening my chest choking the breath
from my lungs
in a lifeless vacuum of stars and color
an eternal journey of fear and passion
tears kiss a daunted face I gasp
my body trembling and cold
I flirt with the pressures that cause men
to betray their will
and relinquish themselves of time
but in this moment of weakness I reach
out to you the sanctuary of my desire
love fills my veins warms my Heart
as I strive to touch life purpose fills my
soul
In growing to know myself I grow to want
you more
as I pursue my dreams marred at times
by the mystery of my affliction
I am spent with your love
Life once more is meaningful
