This poem id dedicated to all the women of the world, old and young alike who are Mothers to someone whether by birth or happenstance ...I thank and applaud you.
Though not
From the cradle
Of your womb
I came
The emotions of
Love
Burns within me
For through the
Waves of my
Infancy
The times when
Maturity
Took its hold on me
You stood by me
Giving help and advice
As only
A mother could
You are the essence
Of Friendship
The perfection
Of love
And it means the world
To me
To have you
As my Mother
