Heavens above
Overcast to the edge of all horizons
Steel grey
Only short lines and few words
Manage to measure the altitude
There isn't time for more
Heavens above and death below
Words that reach the far edge of the page
Would save my life
Isn't it the dogs that actually get the man to the South Pole?
Or is it the strength of the arm that draws the bow?
It certainly can't be accurate artillery
