My home is no asylum

My home is no asylum
joy is no safer haven
than pain

This naked body
can carry no luggage
and knowing
makes no allowance
for eating a square meal

Here decisions are made
on the agility of these frail wings
unknown to me

Light and death
claim desire on my body
in ever repeating days

Teala
A dark look at the human mind, excellent imagery, nice job.

This is a well-written piece of work! A poem fit for a health magazine for those with eating disorders.

It reaches deeply.
