This is one of my texts for a song I have written. For the moment it contains me and my beloved guittar, Arabella.
The song carries the sorrow of being left by love, but also it brings hope into the light.
I think it pritty much speaks for itself. Enjoy
She's like a straw by the sea
fragile and lonely
The seashore swallowed her feet
Now they are covered with stones
and sculptured tears
The ocean serves as her eyes
sometimes apathicly still
sometimes hiding a storm
She loves him
still wonders why he turned
his face from hers
He loved her
seemed so gently
Now he is a phantom
burried in her mind
She pleads to murmaids and gods
"Don't leave me here to die, alone"
The stones and the birds
are all wittnesses of
anger and grief, loving and pleads
The stones and the birds
are all witnesses of
frozen dispair
She loves him
still wonders why he turned
his face from hers
He loved her
seemed so gently
Now he is a phantom
burried in her mind
She's like that straw by the sea
fragile and lonely
But, butterflies pass her way
leaving a smile
upon her face

The Straw
She's like a straw by the sea
fragile and lonely
The seashore swallowed her feet

sometimes apathicly still
sometimes hiding a storm

still wonders why he turned
