a poem about a lost love.
There are many different colors
And shades of every hue
That adorn this world we live in
But without you there is only blue
I long to see the yellow
Of the sunshine of the day
But ever since you left me
My days are filled with grey
And the green covered pastures
That surround our old hometown
As I look out at them by myself
I only see dirt brown
I really wish you would return
But if you don't come back
I guess that I will have to learn
To live my life in black.
