a poem about a boy filled with sadness.
My red haired raven
So secretive and blue
Tell me what could have happened to you?
To change such a happy and smiling young lad
Into someone who is so quietly sad
Did so much happen to you in the past
That through all these years you pain can still last?
Do you think you can ever forgive and forget?
Or has so much happened that you are not there yet?
This pain that you carry is at such a high cost
That your innocence and youth you seemed to have lost
I wish I could erase all your pain and your scars
For if I could do this I would give you the stars
Then each night as you went to lay your head down
You would sleep with a smile
And never wake with a frown.
