I could have been that woman.
Owed in the past.
Touching God.

Fitful glimpses of you

i know
he speaks very strangely
at times

because
he has found
things-as-they-are

so dream your dreams
ageless woman
for it is necessary now

to embody all
with your
honey-pale beauty

it is time to shift
unmask
another puppy

cedar
and lemon-wood
are burning

orange zest
flames from
a secret crest

tall forests
of
human passions

growing brilliance
in the scarlet girdle
around your heart
