Cries from a Tired Soul

Only existing here sometimes,
Breathing shallowly with life
Seeing reflections of what I am,
A glimpse of she who is damned.

Walking the world safe but alone,
Carrying burdens I don't want to own.
Careful not to disturb others who sleep,
Painfully awake to wolves among sheep.

Often I wish to be rid of this place,
Leave this earthbound troubled space.
Searching the heavens for an escape
To shed this flawed corporeal drape.
