To All: Beware! There be monsters here
Beware the monstersThat creep into the room at night.
Big black shadows
Dancing around the moon light
Slithering silently
Just beyond your sight.
Beware the monsters
That hide under your bed.
Whispering quietly
Putting thoughts in your head.
Pay attention
To all that has been said.
Beware the monsters
That feast on your soul.
With glowing green eyes
And hearts dark as coal.
Oily and sly
They come for their toll.
Beware the monsters
That gnaw under your skin.
Evil beasts
Clawing from within.
Leaving nothing
Where you had been.
Beware the monsters
That invade your dreams.
Naughty hands
Steal your screams,
Play with your mind,
And tug at your seams.
Beware the monsters
That needle and prick
From inside
Your conscience they stick
With pins and knives
Thrust lightning quick.
Beware the monsters
That leap around in your clothes
Horned creatures
With jagged teeth and cloven toes.
They scamper about
Mocking your woes.
Beware the monsters
Indeed my friend.
To all that you know
These warnings do send.
If you don't take caution
It could mean your end.
