Cup of Coffee and female's appeal

Cup of Coffee and female's appeal

By layila Ibrahim

Translated by Munir Mezyed

1

She desires
To sip morning
As he fills it up...

2

A frail thread drips
From the light of his spirit
Enlivening deserted caves...

3

A drop of his breathes
Drips
Igniting the forests of desire...

4

The tamed cat
Bites
The fingers of breeze
When
It tangles with its hair....

5

Parched lips
Embrace the cup of coffee
Thus a luscious spell flows....

6

The roaming kisses
Aware not of
The fields of adoration.....

7

Flock of desires
Converse her
In haste....

8

The stuffed pillow
With their sighs
Sleeps in tranquility....

9

It was
The temptation of the wretched
And distressed...

Love every one of these gorgeous little sups of female nectar. They seem to have translated very well. haiku is a wonderful form, if these are, cangrats to layila. Smiling at you, Tai. I was led here after reading a comment on romance you posted on one of my poems, I can;t remember replying. Thanks, it was very much appreciated
