THE VET: From then to now it's on Lock
of Rabbit and The Vet (the strip Rabbit ran)
They couldn't get anything on Rabbit
as of yet
Buffalo had talked to prosecutors,
judges, other cops and one thing
held true with all of them
they said Rabbit has to be the slickest
criminal ever you couldn't get Krazy glue
to stick on him
They had cases against Rabbit at times
and yes some of them were strong
and his Rapsheet "Man Charles
Dickens and Herman Melville together
couldn't write a novel that long"
Rabbit had this lawyer named Weasel
a nerdy, beady eyed little P.O.S. but
in a courtroom he was a star
This guy could get you off with your
Mom if you had crumbs on your lips
and your hand in the cookie jar
Word was he also had an assassin named
Taipan this dude was a real snake in the grass
He was the best that money could buy though
so if he was on your trail that was your A$$
He never missed a mark
this dude was lethal
and he could disappear
in an all eyes on him
with a room full of ppl.
Rabbit didn't always have
this type of pull he was
a two bit stick up kid
but he'd rob dudes that
other stick up kids would
have never did
Politicians, Gangstas, mobsters,
didn't matter to him at all
Didn't matter if you were Mr. Pigeon
Moneybags or some broke fishy
smelling Cod named Mrs. Paul
Rabbit's motto as a stick up kid
was always the same, "no matter
what I'm getting the bread"
"Now you can empty your pockets,
or I can empty them after I put one
in your head."
Don't talk about a setup
because at this Rabbit is
the best
He was a master planner
and could see a setup coming
just like a game of chess
Rabbit graduated from gangsta
to boss on the streets
and ran the vet
Man Rabbit had it on lock
he not only ran the Vet
he monopolized the block
Rabbit had Bill Gate funds
with John Gotti clout
and with a snap of a finger
could get anyone taken out
Rabbit had Cheddar like Kraft
and a heart that was sub zero
everyday with the cats he had
killed he reminded everyone
that a sandwich is life's only
hero
He kept spy eyes on the mayor
and on Inspector Buffalo
because if he got any closer
he would also have to go
Word had it that the Mayor and
the Inspector set up a meeting
he sent warning to the Inspector
that he'd send a pack of wolves
over to see him that thought
that Buffalo wings were good eating
Rabbit knew this was his city
from the time he took over this block
Zoolie is mine from then to now
I have it on lock
