From heart to heart

These city lights will seem like diamonds to my silly mind
For every single second that my mind is full of you.
The moonlight sparkling in the streams of rain,a perfect sight,
The rain won't wash away my love so true.

I wake up in the morning and I caress sheets beside me,
For I was certain that you're with me and you're lying there.
I'm half-asleep,you're in my dream,somewhere behind my eyelids.
Your image makes me smile from ear to ear.

I'll put the rainbow in your heart,whatever it may take.
I'll paint my life in different colors,those that would suit you.
I'll make your eyes shine happily,like shimmer of the lake.
You can't imagine all the things I'll do.

My dreams are like balloons,and as they're rising to the sky,
The people's tongues can be the needles that will poke them through.
They'll laugh in my face,telling me their "Don't you even try",
But nothing can go wrong when I've got you.

Individuality
a sweet poem, love is what we all chase in this life, to find love and bask in its joy. doesn't always work out that way though sadly as love has a darker face too.
