Be Heard
Perception is lostLeft to float alone
With no cost
Smog clouds of what used to be home
Erratic behavior
Leaving the breath of temptation
Hanging on the core
Slipping slowly
Searching for answers
Clenching to fallacies
Never finding the truth
Only trusting in apathy
But he dreams
And he waits
Hoping one day for the gates
Of perception
To unlock and let him in
Let him believe
And let him live
To finally win
So lost without his vision
His words left to dance
With no purpose
No room for incision
But he will make a cut
A place for his voice to be heard
Space for his mountains of words
He will be heard
While life traces around
To the beat of sound
Until solitude falls to the
Ground and burns
And from their ashes a new birth
A new time
A new turn
He will be heard
Belong
Belong
Do no wrong
Let no one stand in the way of your song
