TREES ARE OUR WITNERSES ( INSPIARD BY THE WILLOW POEMS/STORRYS)

Trees live a thousand years , some far longer , some since before time it self as

our Willow, who witnessed , love , from cave man , cave woman , to us

we lay as they once laid upon the grass under the Willows welcoming

branches shading both them and us, as we embraced , made love , for the

first time, and sadly for now the last time , till I join you under the Willow , my

lover under the all seeing all knowing Willow we again to gather we will lay

Willow witnessed our tears when our lover were a way on a job , or times

away at the wars, far , and near , remember that time ''they'' threatened to

put the axe to our Willow?'' turn our Willow in to cricket bats , rest left to burn

and rot, how we did for 'em my sweet darling!!!.

we often when times were bad went to the Willow , to asked '' have your

herd anything , Willow?''

we herd the branches stretch , reach, catch the winds , listen to the messages

carrying in the wind , we listened , we heard the Willow speck , '' no

news '' ,'' all will be well fret no more''. but the time came , and we herd the

beat of the drum and off to war you were called reluctantly off you marched

you went off to war , we made love like never before under the Willow

oh when you came home , strait to our Willow we went wear we cocevde our

Rose , and how our Willow plaid the wind in Willows branches , twigs and

leaves , Willow sang for us , celebrating our Rose as Willow had all our babes

before when we took our Rose to meet Willow

'remember our baby cried all the way?'' , as we reached the Willow , you held

up baby, Rose as we had held up each bairn so Willow could see , Willow had

witnessed our baby's conception ,we needed Willow to see the froute of our

love, have Willows blessings, have Willows protestation, remember the willow

reaching down it branches , stroking our bairns cheeks

with it's leaves? , ''Aye, 'cos you do , honey, mine''

In time you died , how we all cried ,Willow, welcomed you with our three

bairn laying there , a waiting you

there should have been eight , but three died , Willow welcomed them ,

brought

them up as Willows own , now your gone from my arms , now you lay with our

three bairn , now Willows children , '' give them , a cuddle for us , sweet hart''

make sure they behaving now!!, '' tell 'em I love 'em , darling , wont you?''

''don't forget to thank Willow fore me'' , ''for looking after all of us all these

years''

I gave our Willow a hug , soon I'll lay with thee my love under the Willow''

''with all the others of our clan who lay under Willows spread bows , in the

shade , most of all I'll be with you with you my love , my lover , with our kinder

too, till then my honey , I now must go , I know your happy , Willow looking

after you all now ''. I pick my self up , dry my eyes , just realized , I'd been

weeping silent tears , as I talked to you and our Willow, well back now to

the village , '' come on you wiper snappers , lets a way back home'' .

I really enjoyed this one. There's such intimacy and love shared with the willow. It's deeply romantic...
