ON READING A POETS POEM's

On reading a poets poems , remember you read in to it,

Your understanding , of what you have read , may not,

Be what the poet had in there mind when writing,

Think, talk about the poems , with your friends and others,

Best maybe not to ask the poet what they meant in their work,

For the poet may well spile , what you and your friends and others,

Had in mind , as truth is in the mind of the reader , as in the mind of,

The writer , just may not be the same truth.
