Confessions of a Better Life
Confessions of a Better Life
Enough square feet for
too many shoes.
Enough water
To fill an unused pool.
Enough money to pay
the nanny to replace you.
Too many parties
In which you spent alone.
Too many prescriptions
To hide your pain,
You can’t be sad when you’ve got fame.
Enough pills to get you back in control.
Too many nights hugging the toilet bowl.
Enough gas-mileage to get you no where,
Enough teeth whitener and products for your hair.
Too many “what ifs” and too many “whys”
These are the confessions of a better life.
