Things on my mind
I wish I could tell her all the things on my mind,Like Angelou or Silverstein all gifted with rhyme.
But the lows are so low that the good feels so bleak,
When all I wish I could do was tell myself to speak.
If I could express to her my feelings with my an open heart,
No language would dare keep my feelings from coming out.
But in a world where tongue is the major form of speech,
Sometimes a hand shake or a hug is all that I need.
Oh, if I could tell her the feelings within my mind,
I can only imagine it would take so much time.
But I know that she cares with all of her heart,
To open hers up and let me pour some of mine out.
She cradles my emotions in the palm of her hands,
Then she grips it tightly so she can understand.
And although no one can ever know how I truly feel,
The way she cares for me seems absolutely surreal.
I can feel her soul wrap around mine so she can help me heal,
I just wish with my all my heart that I could tell her how I feel.
