By way of explanation of why anyone would choose this subject

It was just a matter of compulsive me having to accept a challenge

Inadvertent

Inadvertent...a hell of a word
As the subject for a poem
It's a word that's rarely heard
In a poem, much less a tome

I hadn't the slightest intention
Not even for a second
To bring this word attention
And then a challenge beckoned

So inadvertently, here I am
Adrift in a sea of verse
Writing this poem of spam
A most inadvertent choice

Inadvertently a rather facetious , could even be called waggish , some may say culiar peace of rum writing. It's good how a word can course the to gybe the way a poem go's. Greatly enjoyed the poem , a great crack.:)
