Walk on by

I wonder what would happen
if we gave away a smile
how much would it really cost
would it really be worthwhile
for all the lonely people
who are walking in the rain
shadows standing side by side
everyone the same
would it lift their hearts a little
as it would lift mine
how much would it really cost
just one smile - to be kind.

What is it we actually fear?

What traps our smile in our tears?

What makes us just - walk on by?

A smile is so easy to give, yet so often we are caught up in our own little worlds we forget, yet when we do receive a smile, it can brighten the whole day - Lovely sentiments expressed in this

seems like people are too caught up with their own things to realize others around them at times... or so it seems to be... it's easy to give a smile, what keeps us back... good questions at the end to finish the thought... maybe people are becoming more socially phobic by surrounding themselves with technology that they become awfully awkward around "real" people? lol goofing yeah - it's that time of night lol :)

a really good text... makes one (un-poshly meant ;) ) think :) *hugs* xx
