SAT ON A STONE , TAKEN TIME OUT TO THINK
I sit upon this stone on the side of the road I walkOnce upon some distant time ago the stone
Now weathered , green fungi living upon it , once
Said just where I were , or where I were or how
Just how far I'd come , or maybe how far I had to go
I sit looking back forward , strait across
Reviewing the past , my past , wondering of my future,
And yes my present place on the road of my life
Past , already just a memory , cant go back , nor stay
hear,
I look forward , to the top of the road , cant see to far
Clouded in mist , a mystery to me now, wont know till I
reach the next stone
So up I stand , face the wind and rain , sleet , wind
button up raggedy cote , put back on my gloves
Face what awaits me , tern up my collar to the rain
and wind
In to the unknown future , I walk too.
