STOOD ON THE ROOF TOP VERRANDA LOOKING OUT
I stand at the veranda , looking outwatch the demolishing iron ball smashing
down the walls that took so long to build
now fast becomes duct , broken brick and
stone
I think of all those who before over
century's had built this castle , to protect
save form all the badness , and evils
to ensure the freedoms hard won should not be lost
now slavery awaits us all
when all the walls will be down , flattened
now we will be judge on if we are cost effective
whether we will turn a profit
dark clouds of war abound above
wars to protect profit , and keep the people down ,
separation , operation
the demolishing ball now getting close , time I
were away , hide , but what the hell ''THEY'' will seek
me out , and those like me who once spoke out
fore me and others may tell of the days when people
spoke out , protested against such goings on.
