We are all food to the Earth, be it ashes or dust be it dark or light
by Kulanga
I’m here to grow a body tree
My gift to Mother Earth
Biodegradable flesh and bones
To fertilize her fields
I;m here to plant a field of dreams
To replenish her spirit needs
She nurtures me from birth to death
As I cultivate our dreams.
I’ll be fruitful and I’ll multiply
We’ll reap the deeds I sow
I’ll dream great dreams
Ans plant great seeds
For richer or for poor
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust
Mare fodder for the Queen
But my spirit will soar to higher realm
In joy, for a job well done.
