Santa Claus Phobia

For as long as I remember
I've had Merry Christmas fears
It happens each December
Been going on for years

It's so catchingly contagious
Spread by Santa's Christmas fame
Claus-ic phobia is outrageous
And sets me all aflame

Seems children are immune
To this condition with its flaws
They're merrily well attuned
To this Santa -phobia Claus

Is there a medicine for me
A Santa Claus-ic cure
Like castor oil or herbal tea
Which might help me to endure?

This Scroogey virus haunts me
Has me misaligned
Santa Phobia taunts me
For a cure that I must find

The kids can do it, I should too
Get through this HO HO time
Perhaps with less the cynics view
This would be a merrier rhyme
