Thank You King George

"You must submit", roared King George the Third
The Colonists were outraged by those words they heard
They'd never have fought in Valley Forge
If not for His Majesty, the third King George

George sanctioned those "Intolerable Acts"
Levied on us intolerable tax
The Bostonians who were hale and hearty
Fostered on George the Boston Tea Party

As the Colonies royal abusive abuser
George gained world renown as the losing-est loser
The Colonists fought fiercely for their liberation
Thank you King George for the birth of our nation
