WHILE OUT FORE A WALK THE OTHER EVENING
I went fore walk to clear my headTo think, and maybe come across
A story to write about
When to men , youngish as they
Walked towards me ''said'' hi , mate''
Both with a smile or was it a grin
''Hi , lad ''I respond , me wondering
''Do I know them?''
Some what puzzled as to their motives
I walked on , smiling , still puzzled
Then would you believe It
Happened , again , same two
Youngish men , ''Hi mate'' , both
called out to ME
I responded same , ''hi lads''
Now walking the streets at dark
Of night , Hearing a greeting from
Strangers , both men
Can be scaring , fearing it can be
A threat
Is kind , of worming don't you think?
When they were just being genuenly friendly
