For a person who really couldn't know me.

Yes, thats MY Fault!

Yes, thats my fault,
I forgot, that you've not yet covered the distances,
that I have
and have not yet met,
the seasons of melancholy in orchard
I fathom and feel true,
for your right to the embarkation,
in an enrapturing new world.
as you're
far away from the facets, I thought of
Its been some centuries long ago,
where I stood once, you stand now.
Disparity of two divergent streams
results my drift from the knott perhaps!
You've all your wrapped arena,
Offcourse!procure your proclivities
and get sensible for the choice of life
I pray, you never understand truely,
my dual meanings, peeping through my poor words
for it needs one, to be so!

Well this certainly needs a comment Tamra! I cannot understand why after so many reads there are none?! So this is for a person that couldn't know you? What rises in my mind is, who can truly know someone else? I thought I knew my late husband....together 23 years, married nearly 18 and yet in the past 6 years since he passed on, I have truly come to know him....

All we can do is try to understand eachothers needs and Yes! Faults!!lol of which I myself have many....

Your poem speaks to me of a spiritual journey you wish for the reciprient of your words....which doesn't make it a universally understood poem perhaps, but maybe it does? We all get a different view, depending on from where we are standing....but it is a beautiful view from a heart of gold who truly wants the best for this person but not necessarily for themselves....

Your last three lines, give you away somewhat, reading between the lines is a poets trick of their trade....

Great work

Going back for more
