Smile

Smile, the faces, worn and torn, hapless;
Desperate, seeking help and happiness;
Positive, never stop, never falter;
Ambitious, the eyes of the defeated

Not having seen such determination
Pain and sadness forever surrender,
No fence can contain the undying hope;
Down falls the curtain of despair and death

Simple, the lives in which the faces live;
Devoted, grueling work, meager reward;
Painful, with voiceless acceptance they strive;
Anxious, the minds of overwhelmed many

Sinning themselves all into damnation;
Refusing men forgiveness of blunder;
Tarnished, their reputation, vain is soap;
Worthless is life until the final breath
