Myself Saved
I left all the darkness behindTo enter the world anew
I saw it as a sign
When your eyes turned Red from Blue
You say I am always wrong
I say you are never right
So I pushed and shoved through the throng
And removed that awful blight
Everything that was mine became yours
As I walked so long and far away
Happiness feels just like chores
When I realized I should with you stay
I took a chance on valuing life
And never regretted leaving the strife
