Day and the Night

The dazzling rays of the day
Daily do the trick and make vague my way.
The whole day, I bring my strengths to my peace,
The night, then pats them to sleep at ease.
What this game of day and night conspires,
Often reflects the promise for a sunny day
Then plots abaft the skies with rain
Resulting in all the trust, I build daily, in vain

we truly are not the deciders of our fates. We can plan and live a life that would lead to a good future, but life has its own way and its own plans. All we can do is hope and believe in a better future, do all we can to make that happen, and be ready for the twists and turns that takes us to places and down paths we never new existed. This is a very thought provoking poem.
