To my ex-husband....

The Spring has gone

Its useless to come to the garden, when spring is over.
And simply foolish to desire the bloom, when autumn has commenced.
Can't be excused, the forgetfulness by the roses
When they'll question, the negligence to their pains.
Its late now, O latecomer!
It could be perhaps! A bit appropriate
To sit in a garden and confess the disdain to it.
The trees however are left with the wood with no shelter
So regret, or go in some other spring of other terrain.
This spring has dried and lost its beauty in your wait.
Its helpless by its nature, it can't rejuvenate.
The load that the trees held, feel light now.
Let them manage their new phase.
Clear blue sky is visible, sans any visor of leaves of strains
The way to God is vivid after the heavy rains,
And the time has gone-- to be back, and the garden is at stake.
