A curious kid asked me what a smuggler was. I said a smuggler smuggles smuggles. What's a smuggle? Was the next question. The following is the result of that little conversation. Just a little fun :-)

Have you ever seen a smuggle...

well neither have I
some say they have wings
some say they can fly
some say they have ears
all floppy and grey
they do like to skip
they do like to play
they will hop all around
on there four tiny legs
and if they are frightened
they will hide under your bed
with a red sparkly nose
and two flashing eyes
they will tell you some jokes
you will laugh you will cry
they have white fluffy tails
and soft silken down
with very fine blue whiskers
that spin round and round
and if you give them some milk
then tickle their tummy
they will blow you some bubbles
they do think that's funny
have you ever seen a smuggle
well neither have I
I think they got smuggled
by smugglers
and so that is why
you have never seen a smuggle
and neither have I.

I think they were smuggled off to Cornish waters Rik! Pirates reign supreme in our waters of old and new

What else is a smuggle to do
Than sit tight,
Enjoy the view
Whilst being pampered
By great poets
Such as you.

Me hearty!
Smiling at you

Tai, thinking a snuggle must be a close relative?!lol
