Juice
Most mornings she extracts the juices of grapefruitsOranges and tangerines
To tip herself into her day.
Come evening she is ready to extract a cork
From a bottle of fermented grapes.
Somewhere along the way
She has usually played her japes...
Extracted a smile or two.
She enters her bed quite vitalised
Clutching a passion fruit.
