the wishes of a broken soul

There is always tomorrow
that is what I say
but I know I should think about today
the troubles at heart
just tear me apart
and I wish for a fresh start
but I know
these feelings will grow
day by day night by night
this evil never ending fight
I am not perfect this I know
every day you remind me so
just to make your ego whole
oh the wishes of this broken soul.

Put your heart and soul into anything...and you are bound to get a little bruised from time to time. Yet...if you don't put your heart and soul into it...can you ever truly live ??
