I don't want pity

all your screams and shouts
make me go deaf
all this arguing leaves me out of breath
I don't want your pity
but I don't want your hate
leave me with my friends and I'll be great
life would be great if you leave me alone
but you just cant be shown
you wont even pick up the phone

Don't get discouraged if it appears that old friends no longer understand you. We all go through growth, and changes...and sometimes, we even outgrow our friends, whether it be spiritually, or emotionally. The only thing that you can do...is be true to yourself.

My pet hate is pity, people have that tendency to show it. I liked this as it gives reality in it's lines, sometimes we want to hide our feelings which is necessary at times but what is writing all about anyway. Feelings plus.
