Scuppernog wine is a sweet wine that is common in the southeastern US.
Upon the forest bed
On a blanket of pine straw
When Honeysuckle smell calls
Images of your expressive gaze
that dangle idioms of words portrayed
For a moment my mind escapes
On a fanciful stream of belated
Thoughts of seascape eyes
And a tanned laughing disguise
As we partake a glass suppine
Of ruby red scuppernog wine
It Evokes a tantric smile
While my mind races amock a while
Of what its like to love an ID
For which form has no guide
Imagination guides my lifes banality
In a dream of surreal reality
I awake from my dreamy state
Arise as my eyes parlay
Two glasses beside
An empty bottle aside
Of ruby red colored drops
Of sweet scuppernog spots
