CONVERSATIONS IN THOUGHT

Conversations in thought ,

When so much left unsaid ,

So much we needed to have ,

Said , but never did ,

No time at the time too say ,

Maybe not given the opportunity ,

When we had too listen ,

Our thoughts , brewing up a head of steam ,

Ready to explode , but keeped bottled up ,

T V , radio , news papers , has us raging,

Angry, fuming , frustrated , important ,

All we can do is think it out , as if in conversation ,

Nights the worse , tossing and turning ,

Conversing in thought.

THINKING LONG AND HARD

I've been thinking , about me and my life ,

Long and hard ,

More I think , the more I realise what is true ,

That I give of vibes , that onthe whole are not ,

Good ,

That pepole take an instant dislike ,

I do not fit in , do not belong ,

Work , the people thear make my life ,

So full of stress ,

Death a constant companion , more a friend ,

I fear not death , so peaceful ,

Life , my life , not so rosey ,

A rose with no flowers , but it's thorn's so sharp ,

Often draws blood , breaks off , then feaster's ,

I can but hope that when I were a live ,

That I did a little good .

Kathy Lockhart
You have expressed so much of how I feel. I identify fully with your poem.

Yes it is worse when night echoes with the debris of the day, with all the mistakes we made, with all the situations we did not understand nor fully appreciated. We are imperfect and the night is our silent judge.
