My drug of choice is the oldest there is
and, without any doubt, the most potent
It was there before man rolled a leaf from a tree
Before any grapes put to ferment
It is stronger than anything man could produce
Instantaneous in its effect
Are there movements to ban, regulations for use?
No, none of what you might expect
There is no cure or serum, no antidote known
You can pray, that is all, for release
I could say it costs nothing - or all that you own
Either way, you will pay on your knees
My drug of choice is in every man's blood
It's immortal, the true angel dust
It consumes and devours and drowns like a flood
For my drug of choice is called lust.
