hatred does damage to a soul

Life less shell

This wound inflicted upon me,
burns my soul,
eating me alive one shred at a time.
The wound caused by this hatred,
toward me
causing me to become numb
making me forget every thing.
I am a shell of what I use to be,
a empty shell,
life less and numb.
This wound through my soul,
burns,
it burns like a red hot dagger being shoved in my soul.
Over time the wound will heal,
but the dagger will never be removed,
causing the pain to never be forgotten.
