Where I Went Wrong

Confusion fills the air,
And swirls everything around.
All the emotions rise up,
While my feet are stuck on the ground.
Hope, anger, and happiness go up,
As I watch the world fly by.
I'm left with absolutely nothing,
And the strangest urge to cry.
Though all the emotions have left,
These memories still haunt me.
They cancel out my hearing,
And make it so that I can't see.
I'm left sitting on the ground,
With the realization that you're gone.
And I'm looking up at the world,
Wondering where I went wrong.

Doreen Cavazza
I like this. I feel the pain coming through the words.
Well done.
