The future

I dip my toe into the future
It chills me icy cold

I catch my breath and wait
Wait to see what unfolds

I imagine a life full of joy
A life that's whole and complete

Yet the only picture painted
A park bench on and empty street.

Daybreaker
This I liked very much.

Park benches on empty streets can be very beautiful sights though - don't you agree... =)

Zoya Zaidi
"I dip my toe into the future
It chills me icy cold"

These two lines chill me immidietely!
As I on I am chilled further, it is very gripping, though a few lines they have a very profound effect on me!

Till th last lines really hits me!

Yeah! Sometimes future looks as bleak as that empty park bench on an empty street!

But then life takes care of everything!

(((((((Hugs to make you feel better about future)))))

Love, xxx, Zoya
