Head down, guard up! ;-)

TIMBER!!

Okay, so I smile a little
When I hear your voice
That doesn't mean I'm falling

The blue in your eyes
Stays with me all day
Not falling, no sir, not me

My stomach does odd things
When you call my name,
So what? I'm still not falling

Just because I hurt a little
When I see you in pain,
That doesn't mean I'm falling either

I'm in awe of you,
Everything you say and do
I'm too smart for this NOT FALLING!

I'll stick to my story
And live my little lie alone,
Until I see you not falling too.......

Hi Phoenix,
I like this self-denial, which is actually another way of admitting; saying that you are indeed falling...
Go fall in, it is much more fun than denying your self the most beautiful emotion on earth- no matter if you lose, you would still gain in experience of love...
So, go ahead, fall right away!
Don't hold back!
((Hugs Purple))
Love,
Zoya

Oh, the last line speaks volumes! A very wonderful, if different love poem! Most excellent and I loved it a ton!

Intriguing symbolism. The tree representing a healthy balance between reaching for the sky while also remaining grounded. I hope that if you do actually fall you will still remain a tree; and you know that I mean that. x
